D-Link DPH-50U Skype USB Phone Adapter – サポートフォーラム

Is it ok to use this device on USB 1.1? [D-Link DPH-50U Skype USB Phone Adapter - 130379]

I notice this device ships with a USB 2 cable, would I be at a disadvantage if I used it with my USB 1 hub?
So everything seems setup correctly, I used a USB port on my pc for it (I have USB 2 on my mobo) I see the Power and PSTN lights come on and I followed the quick setup guide. When I lift the handset I hear it click and can get regular dial tone. I am trying to switch over to Skypeout and it's not switching. When I press ## I get a busy signal on my line, I tried changing it to the #* in the software but the same thing is happening. Any idea what I am doing wrong for it not to switch? Taskbar says both skype and adapter are connected...
Anyone had a similar problem?
Quite possibly you've sorted this all out. If so, please let us know. For the record, though, I think you might actually be at an advantage if you use a hub, even if it's a 1.1 hub - as long as its mains-powered, rather than powered by the PC via USB. My testing of the D-Link seems to suggest that it is very intolerant of USB ports that don't deliver good, consistent power. My review, hopefully, will be up on HEXUS.lifestyle in the next few days.
