Hi, I've had a Muvo TX FM for just under a year. Yesterday, I downloaded the 1.13.03 firmware update and updated it from 1.12.04. After which it worked, I only saw small differences such as the Please Wait.... at the startup. However it does not draw power from the USB port anymore so it doesn't turn on and the computer can't communicate with it, so I cannot transfer songs onto it. I want to know why it doesn't turn on anymore when I connect it to my PC's USB port. I mean, it used to but not anymore!! It works perfectly normal when I attachit to its battery pack bit but not when it connects to the PC. Has anyone else have the same problem after the firmware update and have you been able to get it to work again, if yes, how?
I am having the same trouble. If you find out how to fix. please let mee know

I have had the same problem. I have tried all the suggested fixes on various sites with no luck. The drivers work, it shows up in the device manager, but windows does not recognize it. My personal feeling is that the firmware has a problem with windows. There is one way to access it through the disk management, but it requires a new disk drive letter every time.

I found a fix for that problem. It had something to do with the registry, and nothing to do with the drivers at all. **** EXPORT THE SELECTED FOLDERS BEFORE DOING THIS **** 1) Go into start -> run -> regedit -> hit ok 2) Navigate to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevice1] 3)file -> export (the mounteddevices1 folder) 4) delete all the dosdevices drives (ie \dosdevices\C 5) Iyou will need to do it to the "mountd devices" folder also 6) go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}] 7) Export this too 8) delete the upperfilter key 9) reboot and try plugging in your device. Hope this helps! Your registry may be slightly different, but look in there, there are probably a bunch of keys that are screwing it up. Be careful in making changes to your registry, you can really screw things up in there. If something goes horribly wrong, boot in safe mode and restore from a checkpoint.
